• Pain in the oral cavity may be due to gums of tooth problems. Under any circumstances a pain killer ( analgesic ) gives instant relief from  pain.

• Swelling :  This is after accompanied by pain. It is advised to antibiotics to control the swelling coupled with analgesics.

Answer.
All the above problems may be caused due to gum problems. Inadequate gum and tooth care leads to accumalation of a white film of plaque on teeth. Unclean plaque turns into tartar which gives the necks of the teeth its yellow / grey / black appearance. Also the accumulation of tartar leads to gum infection which in turns causes the gums to swell, get puffy and infected. This is responsible for bleeding and bad breath.
